MANIFESTING

Hello Dreamers:
I recently came to the conclusion that in order to manifest my dreams, I need to do a little homework. For instance, my current wish to the universe is to own the house and the property next door. The first step is to buy the current tax certificate for $3,000.00 and that is what I am waiting for the universe to help with. But as I looked around my house, I noticed the disarray and repairs that needed to be made. I concurred that the universe was not going to give me another house until I properly cared for this one. So the furniture is being redone, walls and cabinets are being repainted, and the “honey-do list” of chores and repairs has been posted. This already has made my manifestation a bit less mucky when I dream it. So from now on when I am designing my dreamboard I will make sure that there are no obstacles in the way. For instance, wishing for financial gains is detrimental if you are going to misuse the funds and get yourself into debt. Using credit cards is borrowing on tomorrow's karma. It sounds unfair, but you must work on your debt before you can be blessed with financial abundance. This is just the way the universe works.
While veganizing my pantry, I also went through all my pots and pans and cooking utensils to make sure that they were quality ones and got rid of anything that was a pain to drag out (which would result in just becoming exasperated and running out to pick up a pizza).
I always liked cooking when I had children at home and a family to cook for. To become inspired to cook for just myself took some motivation. Essentially, I have done a makeover of my entire kitchen to make cooking a pleasure. I choose inspiring recipes that spark my interest. Check out BrownVegan.com for some shopping tips and vegan recipes.
Let’s continue our healthy habits into February and purge our homes of toxic chemicals, non vegan-friendly products, and things that just no longer serve us. Many cleaning products can be replaced with alternative homemade formulas. Visit http://www.motherearthliving.com/Homemade-cleaners/natural-cleaning for some great cleaning recipes using essential oils. I have already replaced my sink cleaner with just a simple baking soda, which I always have on hand for when the goats get a tummy ache.
There is a controversy about whether to keep wearing your leather belts and shoes once you become vegan. Some see it as wasteful to discard and decide to keep wearing the item. Others are repulsed by the sight of leather and donate these items so they can still be of use. Either way, most vegans will then refrain from purchasing anything made of leather, even second hand sofas, purses, or buying a car with leather seats. So what is your take on this dilemma? Here’s a great article that sums it up for me, see what you think:http://www.veganmotivation.com/vegan-wearing-leather-belt/
And while you are pondering what to do with that leather belt, check out this book:
The life-changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. ( I actually had my library order it for me.) Marie Kondo began organizing at a very young age and teaches her own method of getting rid of clutter and living in a spacious organized way. Even if you don’t agree with all her techniques, this book is fun to read and will make you feel so guilty that you are bound to incorporate some of her methodical ways.
And lastly, here is my finished dreamboard.

Yes, there are still some open spaces. I guess you could say I was optimistic about my dreams. But when it comes down to it, I really have most of what I want. I live paycheck to paycheck now, and also live in a manufactured house, but my life is rich. I wake every morning to see my peacocks peeking in the window, or looking upside down into the glass of the back door. I hear the goats and horses begin to sound the alarm that I better get out of bed and feed them. And each evening, after feeding the animals, I look up at the trees in my backyard and the beautiful sky. I hear the goats munching on their hay (my favorite sound) and think - Life IS Good.
Until next week dreamers,
Coleen
