Hello Dreamers:

I’m hoping that all of you are full swing into living your dreams in 2017. “Hey, that sounds like a song!”

By now many people have fallen by the wayside in making their resolutions come true this year. But not for us vegan dreamers. Did you know that vegans actually have a more positive outlook on life? Okay, I made that up, but there is evidence that by following a vegetarian or vegan diet, one does become more concerned with environmental issues and has a better understanding of sentient beings.

Have you felt more energy, have you felt empowered, have you discovered yourself? These are all feelings that are taking place in the world around us. We no longer have to believe what we have always been taught. Now is the time to question authority and live a life of freedom. Which brings me to my next subject. The Bucket List.

In the movie,The Bucket List, two elderly gentlemen with a fatal disease decide to do everything they ever wanted to do before they “kick the bucket”. The popularity of the movie inspired some people to create their own bucket list. Although not dying of a fatal disease, some just wanted to make a list of things they want to do before they die. Skydiving, riding horseback on the beach, traveling, even making amends with family members.

I don’t believe in bucket lists because life's too short and I think people should just go out and do what they want to do. If you die tomorrow, is there anything that you will regret not doing? Then do it today, or take the first step to doing it. If it is a trip that you always wanted to take, write down what you need to do to make it happen. If you want to swim with sharks, explore the options….We need to be empowered to take over our own lives and not wait for life to happen.

By doing so, we also have to decide not to do what no longer serves us. That is why I have a F*cket List. MyF*cket List consists of things that I will just say F*ck it to. This will free up my time to live the life that I want without unnecessary interference. Feel free to use my F*cket List or create your own.

MY F*CK IT LIST

*I will no longer stay in a dead end job (unless I am totally broke)

*I will no longer procrastinate on things that I don’t want to do, I will evaluate and do them right away or take them off the list.

*I will not care what others think of me.

*I will not participate in luncheons, potlucks, or contribute to gifts that I don’t want to.

*I will not let my age determine my plans for the rest of my life.

*I will not try to be friends with everybody just because I work with them.

*I will not patronize businesses that disagree with or conflict with my beliefs.

And here’s ….MY FREE SPIRIT LIST

*I will wear boho clothing even though I am 56 years old.

*I will continue to eat a vegan diet, swerve around frogs in the road and hug my trees.

*I will run on the beach and be thankful for my health.

*I will manifest my dreams and talk to the Universe.

*I will have as many animals and rescues as long as I can take care of them.

*I will laugh when they call me the “Old Goat Lady”

Don’t ever stop dreaming, reading, or planning. There is so much more of the world out there to explore, even if it is from a computer. Make the most out of the life you have now. Your lessons learned will become rewarding experiences in your next life. Please go hug a tree today!

On a serious note, this month is when we should organize our outer lives. Do you have a will, financial plan, burial plot? Who will take care of these things if you don’t? We are all grown-ups and need to take responsibility. Think of what a relief it will be once these things are taken care of. Check out this website:

Are you an organ donor? If this is your plan, make sure it is stated on your drivers license (laws and procedures vary from state to state) and that your family knows. My plans are to donate my body to the University of Florida.

Check in your area for a participating University if this is something you would like to do.

Be sure to tell your loved ones of your plans in the event of your death. It is better to have a plan in place, so those remaining family members can start the grieving process without added financial burdens. Once your life plans are in order, you are free to manifest your dreams and goals. Peace and live each day by the Reiki Rules.

Keep Dreaming,

Coleen
